Though we are new on the scene, JT Witness has been producing music for decades. Off and on.

We write lyrics intended to help you navigate your way through this treacherous world. To inspire, encourage, and strengthen you to face the reality of today and overcome the obstacles it presents. To encourage you to remain steadfast despite the circumstances and live in the eye of the storm. To brighten your spirit, give you hope, and lift your gaze to a kinder world, one we can make together. A world that doesn’t leave the humble, the meek, and the voiceless behind, but celebrates their simplicity, wisdom, and beauty. We do not fear the darkness that veils our world, but seek to illuminate it with love.

Our musical leanings are eclectic and often surprising. We love to blend genres, choosing those that best communicate the message in a given song. As a result, we release music that’s hard to pigeonhole, but easy to listen to. Epic sound, heartfelt, passionate vocals, and clean engineering characterize every song. We treasure many cultural traditions and include elements of them in our music—not to appropriate them as if they were our own, but to honor and revere them by amplifying the influence they’ve had on us and share their message wherever we can. Therefore, you will find our cultural reverence expressed through blended elements of reggae, hip hop, alternative rock, blues/R&B, Gospel, electronica, and more, as well as references to First Nations tribes, their enduring ways of life, and spiritual insights.

About Beautiful Judgment Day

Our music lives in the numinous space between ruin and revelation — where the end of one world becomes the birth of another through the mysterious power of Divine justice and mercy. We relentlessly examine current events, reality in general, and the dualities inherent in life on planet Earth. As a result, we anticipate the day when those dualities we see are resolved into One Truth that guides us all. Therefore, we see beauty in the breakdown, redemption in the noise, and holiness in the act of facing truth — no matter how corrosive it feels. Judgment Day is the moment we stop running from ourselves, and that is a beautiful day indeed.
